How to Become a Christian. To become a Christian, a follower of Jesus Christ, you must be born again. Jesus said, "I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIGHT, NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER, BUT BY ME." (John 14:5) To accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior is as easy as A-B-C.

Admit that you are a sinner. The Bible says that "all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). Sin separates us from God, and ultimately that means eternal punishment in hell. To escape sin's penalty, we need the Divine forgiveness offered us through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Believe on Christ. We must acknowledge Jesus died on the cross for our sins, and we must trust Him for our salvation, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved." (Acts 16:31) We must personally receive Jesus Christ as Lord.

Confess Your Faith. If you confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart you are justified, and it is with your mouth you confess and are saved (Romans 10:9-10).

Ask Jesus to come into you life right now. Admit your sins. Believe that Jesus is your only hope of salvation. Confess "Jesus is Lord".
